Austro-Russian long term mission (RLF project)
IAP was a private research institution and an ESA reference lab. Starting in 1994, it pursued applied physiological research with emphasis on gravitational physiology and space medicine. It was listed as a European Space Agency Reference Lab for Bedrest, Hypokinesia, and Metabolic Balances. The Institute was founded and led by Helmut G. Hinghofer-Szalkay. It ceased its activities in 2010.
Das IAP war eine gemeinnützige private Forschungseinrichtung und ein ESA-Referenzlabor. Errichtet in 1994, betrieb es angewandt-physiologische Forschung mit spezieller Ausrichtung auf gravitationsbiologische und raumfahrtmedizinische Fragestellungen. Das Institut wurde von H. Hinghofer-Szalkay gegründet und geleitet. Es hat seine Aktivitäten 2010 eingestellt.
