Helmut
Hinghofer-Szalkay researches and teaches physiology since 1970. He
became a tenured professor at the University of Graz in 1981. During
his career he was an Ames Research Fellow; the Director of Adaptional
and Spaceflight Physiology; and chairman of the Department of
Physiology, Medical University in Graz, Austria, from which he retired
2013.
